THE PORTAL IS NOW CLOSED. THE PORTAL WILL RE-OPEN ON 1 SEPTEMBER 2024 FOR APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOOL PLACES IN SEPTEMBER 2025.

The deadlines to apply have now passed. They were:

• Due to start Reception at a Primary or Infant school in September 2024– the deadline to apply was 15 January 2024

• Due to start Year 3 at a Junior school in September 2024 – the deadline to apply was 15 January 2024

• Due to start Year 7 at a Secondary school in September 2024 – the deadline to apply was 31 October 2023

As the deadline has now passed for on time applications, you cannot apply online, you should now contact us to make an application. You will also not be able to change your child’s details on your online application including their address and preferences. You will still be able to change your contact details, however this will not update your child’s details.

If you wish to update your child’s address or change your preferences, you will now need to contact us by email schooladmissions@eastriding.gov.uk. We recommend that you read the Guide for Parents and consider your catchment school as a preference before making an application.

If you are resident outside of the East Riding of Yorkshire, please apply to your home local authority - for example Hull City Council or North Yorkshire County Council.
