Registering with this Portal

Before being able to make an application for a school place, you must register and validate your email address from a link in an email we will send you as part of the registration. Please ensure you check your ‘junk’ email folder if you do not think you have received the registration email.

You can apply if your child is:

· Requesting a school place in the 2026-2027 school year – The portal will open from 01 June 2026.

· Due to start Reception at a Primary or Infant school in September 2027 – The portal is open from 1 September 2026 and the deadline to apply is 15 January 2027.

· Due to start Year 3 at a Junior school in September 2027 – The portal is open from 1 September 2026 and the deadline to apply is 15 January 2027.

· Due to start Year 7 at a Secondary school in September 2027 – The portal is open from 1 September 2026 and the deadline to apply is 31 October 2026.

If your child is resident in the East Riding of Yorkshire, you can use this Portal to apply for a school place before the deadline for applications. If you are resident outside of the East Riding of Yorkshire, please apply to your home local authority - for example Hull City Council or North Yorkshire County Council.
